Just got back from the gym!
I FINALLY dragged myself back after an absence of several years. Felt pretty good (although I can only lift about 20 lbs. on the weight machines!) Hope I can make it there at least 3 times a week now.

1. Hey there, DTBK!
Good for you! You go, girl! and like that....

A personal trainer at my gym told me that it takes about 12-13 trips into your gym before it becomes a real habit...so hang in there, and keep on going...You'll be soooo glad you did!

I've been going for several years now; my energy levels are way up, and hopefully I will soon be off my weight loss plateau, with my weight coming down once again...I so want to be thinner...

:kick: :yourock: :woohoo: :woohoo:

3. Yup - my former trainer said it takes a month of going regularly
to get your body used to it again. Just got back in the habit again, and the first couple trips hurt like the dickens. But it felt great to be working out again.

4. DOMS is going to kick your butt.
Just as long as you kick its butt back, you'll be fine.

5. That is great news
I must follow your lead. I've been threatening to enter the gym at our complex for a few months now. It is free, fairly nice, and all of ten feet (maybe an exageration) from the door. It is time to suck it up and start.
