So I find out about the new apartment today . . .

I need to call the guy around 10:00.

I have to convince them to let me have a late September move-in date (basically having the lease start Oct. 1).

What I would end up doing is paying the final move-in costs and fees to them on Sept. 13th, then start moving all the small stuff myself for a couple of weeks afterwards. Then have the movers come on the 27th or 28th to move all the big stuff.

Send me good vibes, I really want this to happen, I can't stand my noisy neighbors in the current place much longer.

7. When I moved mine into the condo

the timid cat Lily was the first to emerge from the room where I had opened their cat carriers. She walked into the kitchen, rubbed against my legs as if to say, "Not bad! I'm going to take a look around the bedroom I'll see ya in a few." It took another hour for Pad Thai, but both were fine with the move.

They won't have as much window ledge space to occupy, but I think they'll live :).

It's got a very cool corner with a window that I think I'll put a multi-level cat tree in for them (assuming I get the place of course. That way they still have platforms facing the window to perch on :).

that's straight from The Waterboy (definitely a 6-pack movie :beer: ) Haven't seen any of the others, they require too much beer to sit thru.

I know that moving is in the top 5 of stressful events, but it sounds like a good call.

this will be relatively stress free.

It's only a few blocks from my current place, and I've gotten rid of so much stuff in the past year or so that I don't have a lot to pack.

It should go really smoothly as long as the date works.
