What did Bill Murray say? (possible spoiler)
I saw Lost in Translation this weekend, and thought it was great (but then again, I think anything Bill Murray does is great), and thought the ending was great as well. Anybody want to take a guess as to what he whispered in Scarlett Johannson's ear at the end of the movie?

3. I know it was on purpose
It was designed to allow the viewer to make up their own ending. That's my question; how did you end it?

2. Best that we don't know
That is, being married, I know what he said, or I know what I would have said.

Awesome film. I really appreciated it.

4. I think they will see each other again
And their love will become more of a deeper friendship without the romantic tingles that infest it now.

Fantastic film.

5. I agree
I was thinking of the song That's no Way to Say Goodbye, by Leonard Cohen, but the J&M Chain worked very well. I think he told her that it was better they parted the way they did and that should be friends back int US - things would be different.

She obviously needed to take a look at her marriage and she needed to do it without being involved with a middle-atged man.

Loved the film - want to see it again.

6. Nah, He wants her and her's gonna see her
No other way, based on her expression. That's why I liked the film, Real cinematic art. The question to ask, although it's not relevant in my view, is whether he's going to leave his wife. Sorry, but it happens all the time.

7. I think it would be better if they never saw each other again.
I think what made that relationship speacial is that it existed solely in that place in that time and it would never be the way it was if they met up again in America.

9. He said, "IF YOU'RE A PHILOSOPHY GRAD FROM YALE,
HOW COME YOU DON'T HAVE ANY BOOKS?" Just kidding, I liked the movie, too. Just a little less rapturous than some.
