Will Leno be making Jacko jokes now that he's been called to witness?
Jacko's defense lawyers put up about 25 or so super celebrities to back up his character in court, including Jay Leno. Also Liz Taylor, Barry Gibb, Diana Ross, and many others.

Some of them may comply happily, some may not. I can see Liz up there on the stand, going for the oscar, but I can't picture Jay Leno as a character witness for Jacko after all these decades of Wacko jokes.

Legally speaking, now that he's been named as a potential witness, will Jay be forced to cease and desist all Jacko jokes till it blows over? That might kill my man Jay, holding it all in. And what are the Chances of Jay doing it? Will he go willingly, or kicking and screaming?

1. I wonder if this precludes him from speaking on it.
Lame.

While I generally try to avoid commenting on the MJ thing (with a few regrettable exceptions), I have to say that whatever he's trying to pull with this celebrity witness hit parade is utterly ridiculous.

2. If the judge allows those people to be called
then he is going down the path of Lance "master of time" Ito (the MJ judge doesn't collect hourglasses I hope). What could any of those people possibly say about MJ that would preclude him being a serial child molester?

The best thing about this debacle so far has been the media ban from the courtroom.

3. If I were on the jury
I'd recommend the death penalty just for making me endure a minute of watching Jay Leno.

5. Based on Kobe and Jay, I suspect a "Media target" defense.
Feigning solidarity with the oppressed Kobe Bryant. Unfairly ridiculed by Jay.

This man mortgaged the Beatles songbook and thinks somehow it's possible for the media to mistreat him.

He deserves whatever he gets just for that.

6. If that's all it takes to shut him up Bill Clinton should sue Leno
Leno is STILL telling lame "Clinton-is-a-horn-dog" jokes. It would please me no end if Leno had to shut the fuck up with the Clinton jokes because he was called as a witness on a Clinton lawsuit.
