I would cancel mine but I already did years ago over their union-busting.

But here is what I did - I e-mailed Mr. Goldsborough expressing my support, and copied the 'reader's rep' on it. I expressed my displeasure at the whole situation - pulling the column. There will be no more purchases of the U-T.
I got a very nice reply from Mr. Goldsborough thanking me for the note, and stating that he was working on some private projects. He seemed very O.K. with the whole thing. I wished him the best!
