Poll question: Favorite Replacements Album????? |
|
I would have to say "Pleased to meet me" just because it's mindblowing.

2. How about "The Replacements Suck"? |
|
because I saw them twice in Portland and they sure did suck! So drunk they threw their instruments into the crowd and staggered off after some 45 minutes...Both times! Tried to make up for it by pressing on the inner grove of one of their major label wanker albums "we're sorry portland"...but by then they were has-beens.
But I did like "Answering Machine" from Let it Be...In fact I like pretty much all of "Let it Be" and "Hootenany"...plus early classics like "Customer" and "I Hate Music"...
"Pleased to meet Me" is a great album, reminds me of the Stones in their prime, but they were so inept live that I turned against them.
Sorry for being a bumwad here!

Because they were raging alcoholics, that does not mean that their studio work was not amazing.
