Speaking to Ron Reagan. He was very upset. I think perhaps that is the talk of the town.

35. Did you hear him say that he was
"fittin'" to get him some gas from the black car offscreen? He was fantastic, bless his heart. Saw his chance to get his message out and took it.

7. more info please???
We weren't all watching MSNBC at that exact moment... So, could you please give some more context?

Like, Why did he say that? Was it in response to a reporter's question? Were they asking him what he thought about the president's (lack of) response? Just what prompted this statement?

20. Shuster asked him what he thought of what
the emperor had said, he replied he didn't think bush should be president anymore. He said his apartment is still standing, but that he has nothing else, didn't know about his mom. posted earlier, I loved the line at the end when he said it's not looting, it's survival. That should help explain to some that think all looting is terrible, the man has nothing. Can you blame him for wanting gas to get the hell out of there?

10. I replied earlier about that guy
he is probably going to be arrested for his comments about taking gas from the black car. "It's not looting, it's surviving." How many echo his words? I wonder how many people have died in the time it took the emperor to speak?

cease to fear the royal scepter.

Bush is now naked, and the mood of the country is getting ugly.

17. i dont quite know how to convey this
but i truly pray that people do get good and angry
so outraged that they will force this monster out of our midst

not hopeless not making themselves ill with their anger but truth-filled righteous indignation about what is being perpetrated against each and every one in this nation

hope everyone understands this is not at all about being glad what has happened
its sickening and didnt have to be
thats what im speaking of

15. That was hilarious
The reporter was completely blind-sided by the kid's comments. Obviously, he hasn't been exposed to differing opinions. The kid was pissed. We have no food, we have no water, and Bush has done nothing. We have no gas. The police are taking all the gas, and we can't get any. If I could get some gas, I would leave.
The reporter kept trying to lure him away from his comments about Bushie. It was hilarious. WTG DUDE!

21. I was just thinking - oh, please, couldn't we just get Clinton in to act
as President to deal with this disaster. Imagine the difference.

I know that is a stupid thought but it went through my head.

He is smart, competent and empathetic and the "I feel your pain" can make people feel better in a time of tragedy.

26. People in the media, like those in the Beltway, live in their own universe
What happened here was a collision of worlds. A media guy with a very stylized view of life got to face the real thing. Of course he was shocked.

31. I just heard the clip on Ed Schultz
The reporter tried to change the subject and asked Robert where he lived. He told the reporter, and then went right back to his rant, talking about how the police are buying up all the gas, they won't let the residents get any, and then pointed to a nearby car and said he was "fixin' to go get gas from that car." He flattened that reporter!

"red state" voting areas, no doubt, where their views about Bush will be trivialized and overwhelmed by Rethug voters.
