She neither confirmed nor denied.

1. When she thought that she was off mike, she showed her anger that the |
|
military was not there by now (in a briefing carried on WWLTV. I hope that Bush sinks deeper than the city over all of his mistakes on this.

2. Gibson on GMA said Blanco didn't give him a "firm" answer |
|
on evacuation of NO. He was badgering her but she really should have been more forceful in her response. The mayor of NO was more forthcoming. He talked about the ghastly disease threat with dead bodies in the water flooding the city.
We are looking more and more like a 3rd world country in our ability to face a huge public health crisis.

3. Blanco looks tired and weak at the moment... |
|
she was a bit incoherent on the today show. Then she went on about declaring this a day of prayer in Louisiana...okey dokey. I know it's not pc to critique her...and it may just be her southern nature, but it's just not confidence inspiring.
