This from T r u t h o u t

Saturday there will be a barbecue that George Bush and any gold star family members that support the war are invited to.

http://www.truthout.org/cindy.shtml

Hmmmm...Saturday. Isn't that the day the You Don't Speak for Me, Cindy Sheehan™ "grassroots" road show, organized by Republican P.R. firm Russo, Marsh & Rogers of Sacramento, CA, arrives at Crawford?

I think we're in for a real "dog and pony" show at the ol' ranch...

edited for clarity

1. I'm wondering if Quall or any of the others
will take up Cindy's invitation. I think Mr. Quall wouldn't dare show his face after he lied about Cindy on TV.

4. Shameful.....
...maybe Bush had to give them some more incentives to show up - besides the money and PR Firm Signs.

3. Loyalty agreements all around
I wonder if Cindy had to sign one the first time she met with The Shrubbery.

5. I don't think that will go over very well. Have any of those families
"already" met with him once? So the issue isn't that he already met with Cindy or the other GSF for Peace, the issue is clearly supporting the President's position.

I think that looks really sh@#ty!

Hopefully it will trigger a lot of stories about his "town hall meetings" with only people who agree with him. It can help emphasize his "bubble".

6. This is going to backfire on him big time. America is waking up and
will see how scared this man is to meet with someone who knows he is a Liar!

10. What George wants to hear on Saturday.
"Thank you for sending my child over to Iraq so that he/she could die over there protecting us from terrorist attacks over here. So what if Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9/11? And so what if a bunch of Iraqi civilians get killed instead of us?"

The really sad fact is that they will believe it when they say it. And they aren't ever going to see how immoral it is to plan to put the Iraqi people into a situation where they are killed instead of us.

11. OMG. That's such a slap in the face, I feel it all the way over here in
Georgia! TRuly, I don't give a flip about him, and yet *I* feel a significant pang over that.

And it strikes me as just THE single most politically inept thing I've ever heard from him or his people.

12. Only pro-Bush/war families get a second visit.
The RW pundits can't get enough of the talking points of "But,Cindy Sheehan met with the president once already."

Yet Bush specifically invited this military mom (who of course was honored to sacrifice their sons serve the "noble cause")to his Idaho rally even though he already met with the her once already.

I'm sure there's others too we don't know about.

Anti-war supporters (what little get air time)need to beat this point into the ground every time the righties bring up their "once already" bullshit.

Remember the day were were attacked? Oh no! Oh no!
My son said he'd gain our honor back- So go! So go!
Then he enlisted & went to war-
Now I'm not sure what he's fighting for!
But I'd surely ask If
I were a gold-star Mom.

repeat until nauseous.

17. Yippee! Attend a BBQ with bush. Price of admission: your child's life.
This slap in Cindy's face is so nauseating on so many levels. How petty can anyone be.

Look for lots of photo ops of teary-eyed parents staring lovingly at their pathological golden-calf god, for whom they sacrificed their child, with bush gazing back and doing his damnedest to display some reasonable facsimile of sympathy on his smug, privileged face.
