I'm at the Sheehan press conference right now.

I can see it from where I sit in the tent. One of the cameramen was getting obnoxious with his camera after Cindy put her sons boots in front of his cross. Jeff Key, a rather large marine, nearly picked him up when the guy refused to leave. (Jeff is a rather large Marine)

Jeff said "This land is now sacred ground." The camera man backed down.

Very intense moment.

Earlier Cindy said that she respects those who think there sons died for a noble cause in Iraq. "Whatever gets them though the day."

She also said this to people who claim that Casey supported the war in Iraq: "If anyone knew my son better than me, I will be happy to sit down with them and talk." (Paraphrase)

I will now run back to the press conference and get more info. I'll answer as many questions as I can, but remember that the internet connection here can be spotty.

ON EDIT: I was with Jeff for almost the entire day yesterday. Jeff is a very kind man and he's takes the memory of his comrades very seriously.
Jeff has been in combat in Iraq, he knows better than most what those soldiers went through before they died.
