Poll question: better website name?
I am developing a website with commentary on current events, and have registered these domain names, and need to choose.

Which name is better?

3. I think Democratic Country is a more evocative name, less harsh, but...
Sadly you'll get the nickname "DemoCunt". Move Left sounds strident and a bit of a take off on MoveOn and several "left" named sites. Keep us all posted on what you decide to go with.

8. Off hand I know of 3...
http://www.radioleft.com/

http://www.turnleft.com/

http://www.bear-left.com/

Wow. Two of these three seem to be somewhat dormant. I assume you've put some time and planning into your site design. Have you thought about contacting one of these established sites and seeing if their current owners are willing to "pass the torch"? That seems like a better alternative than doing a total start up with a name you're not quite committed to yet.
