"Karl Rove Will Bring Down Tom DeLay.." From Buzz Flash
Big snake gods eating the lesser of snake gods...sssssss

"It Will be Karl Rove Who Brings Down Tom DeLay, Not the Democrats.

A BUZZFLASH EDITORIAL

Well, we said it about the media frenzy surrounding Trent Lott's lauding of Strom Thurmond and we'll say it about Tom DeLay. It's not the Democrats that will bring down Tom DeLay; it's the Executive Branch and the White House that are leaking like a sieve. Karl Rove's fingerprints are all over this knife

DeLay has forgotten the golden rule: George W. Bush comes before any Republican's personal agenda or power play. "

1. Makes sense
Delay is a liability.

13. So What's Keeping Him?
Is KKKarl too busy plea-bargaining for Rudolph, and greasing skids for the next Pope to pay attention to the chaos at home? His little revolution is falling apart at the seams.

2. That is the truth
He wouldn't be cut unless Karl wanted him gone. He was doing well right up until he made * look bad. (Well, he made him look worse but you get my point.) One can't make Bunnypants look bad, dontcha know.

3. You'd think their minions would know this by now ...
... the BFEE only loves you when you have something they want, or are of some use to them. Once you no longer serve them any purpose, you're persona non grata ... from the lowliest uneducated voter to the corporate and political heads of the world.

Their only convictions and allegiances are to themselves.

When will people start to comprehend this ???

4. I wrote something similiar the other day -
DeLay got too big for his britches and forgot who's in charge - Rove. DeLay is now a liability to Rove's vision of America.

5. Nice tone, but I must say the mixed metaphors were getting to me.
Snake, cockroach, mob references, etc.

(My inner editor at work.)

6. Love It When They Eat Their Own
Delay is a nice first course, who's next on the menu?

7. There's a real problem with that scenario...

Rove comes across to the public as the hero who goes after corruption even within his own party. That make him able to claim the moral high ground.

9. Delay must have been the one to convince
Bush to make that midnight plane ride. This would be his punishment. My guess is that they will let him twist in the wind for a while, as a lesson. Then this like every other scandal in the Bush administration will slide neatly down the memory hole.

10. Dem leaders in DC should flip it
and make DeLay bring down Karl Rove & the corrupt House of Bush.

Where are the LBJ's and Harry Trumans when we need them?

11. Hate to see
him being booted by his own people. Would rather see him impeached, handcuffed and hauled off under protest from his supporters to the nearest Turkish prison. If the repubs clean up their own mess, we could end up with someone worse...hard as that is believe!

14. Delay won't see it coming
and the best part is he'll still think he's a victim of a Democratic plot, the poor boy. Rove is good, he's verrrrry good at this kind of thing.
