'Goth Bonnie and Clyde' in $7.4m 'theft'
Source: Daily Telegraph

A couple dubbed the "Goth Bonnie and Clyde" for their penchant for vampire novels and fantasy games have been charged with stealing $7.4 million (£3.75 million).

Roger Dillon, 23, and Nicole Boyd, 25, who deny charges of bank larceny, are accused of taking the money after Dillon spent nine months working for a security company.

During his time at Armored Transportation Systems in Liberty, Ohio, Dillon learnt its staff shift patterns and access codes for its safe, prosecutors say.

Police say he and his girlfriend waited until the night of Nov 26, when safes were full of Thanksgiving store takings, before entering the building using an employee security code. The pair then drove 250 miles to the remote hills of south-west Virginia, where they lay low with Dillon's mother in a mobile home.

2. Vampire fetishists and spooky kids, more like.
Not goth at all -- their clothes are shabby, and they've bad make up.

11. Seriously
The guy looks more way more chav than goth, he's just wearing dark clothes. They fail at life, anyway. A real goth would be too smart to get caught. :P

But please, say it with me now: vampire fanboys != goths. I wish muggles would get that through their thick skulls.

8. cute girl...
if they would have played it normal, they might have gotten away with it. But, leaving sales receipts and not showing up for work the next day...those dumb moves got them caught.

3. My prediction ...
there are going to be hundreds of 'small time' thieves stories to distract from the robbery taking place on WallStreet.

10. And no tommy guns either!
Not such a big deal.

But I bet bank robberies are going to go up like they did in the depression years. We just had one in our neck of the woods (NW Washington). I teased Mr.Feb because he resembles the description given by the police. He wasn't amused.

6. Tough break for a nice looking pair!
If only they'd worked on Wall St., they'd be getting bonuses for their crimes now.

7. I hope someone in management gets fired.
I live in Northern Ohio. Basically this company was keeping cash and checks in an "industrial park" type building, overnight, and on weekends. The building looked like someone could open the aluminum doors with a push. Their total security was a PIN number.

They did not do a good job of protecting 7 million $.
