1. Minnesota is a swing state?

It hasn't gone Republican in a presidential race since 1972.
A Republican hasn't won a statewide race since 2006 - and that was with a plurality (about 46%) not a majority.
The DFL controls both houses of the legislature
All four statewide Contstitutional offices are held by Democrats (Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, and Auditor
And the Republicans can't find a serious candidate to run against Amy Klobuchar this year.
