1. JMHO, but

abbott did what he did because he could. He's nothing more than a right wing nut job who kowtows to any and all conservative speakers such as carlson et al. He's a power hungry radical who somehow believes in white nationalism, that no other race or color matters. How people still believe he's doing a good job is just simply mind-boggling. But that is just my opinion, means nothing to no one except me.
