We're voting for his policies and not him, is such utter rubbish.
It takes a leader to effect compromise. The ACA didn't get passed because Congress voted for it. It got passed because Obama worked his ass off to form coalitions and make deals. The New Deal got passed because FDR led the way. The Civil Rights Act got passed because LBJ led the way.
Trump's supporters don't give a damn about policy. They are part of a cult. When they're independently polled they are far more left than most GOP policies.
THEY VOTE FOR THE MAN, not the policies. They vote for their cult leader.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
