None of them have my support... [View all]
I'm pretty sick of it being just another day in America where plutocracy reigns, women and minorities are still marginalized and the working class gets nowhere.
The college admissions scandal has really set me off in a way I didn't expect. I had to work my way through college. The husband and I struggled to help our daughters who worked their butts off as well. Why should we work so hard while it just gets handed to spoiled rich kids who never did a damn thing to earn their place?
This just caps off the resentment that I've felt for a while and it's boiled over into anger.
I want to see these candidates really talk about these issues and what they think can be done to set this country right and onto a path for true equality, a level playing field. I don't think that's too much ask.
I consider myself a pragmatic person, but really...enough is enough. I'm not talking about a Bernie-type revolution or anything.
But this one-sided America where the top 10% gets to lie, cheat, steal, break the law and basically do whatever the fuck they want has to stop.
We play by the rules, do everything we're supposed to and we still get shit on. I'm pretty fucking sick of it.
Until a candidate can come forward with real answers rather than campaign feel-good rhetoric, I'm on the sidelines.
