It is easier to isolate Trump and his core supporters as a problem.

Indicting all republicans sounds reckless and we will turn off center and center-right independents, a lot of whom hold conservative positions but intensely hate Trump.

This election is going to be a war fought for every single vote and it is not intended to provide satisfaction to our inner feelings.

Biden is 100% correct in this. Lofty slogans and idealistic platitudes are good for candidates who are sure they would lose but it helps them raise money from angry people.

By not demonizing the entire opposition, Biden also makes it easier for himself to unite the country after he wins.

If I were to vote in a presidential
