(5,400 posts)So, don't fuel the engineered meme that the Sanders campaign is having an ongoing issue with some groups? I agree with that. I saw the concern for that issue in some threads and thought a lot of it self serving. I also see that fake concern serving as fodder for some click bait articles online.
I tell people, don't bother clicking on the articles to see how wrong they are. Being over the top is what brings eye balls to the advertisements. There are plenty of other places where reasonable people do go for honest journalism and discussion.
But maybe it's good a few people wade in and post expansively as to what is actually what. Imo that's a viable standard. If you give them a click, give them an earful that does the Sanders campaign and yourself credit. But don't give away your clicks to the articles written as bait. They shouldn't be encouraged. To be fair I should note that many people think a lot of the incendiary headlines we see were in no way written by the authors of the article. Yes, somebody just figures what will cause the most clicks.
