DU helped save my apartment in 2012 after my husband had to enter a nursing home and I was stuck paying for my apartment and his nursing home until I was able to get help from Medicaid for him. I wasn't about to let them evict him, so my cats and I were in trouble. The wonderful folks at DU saved us all, so I try to do what I can to pay it forward.

We're family here. I hope things turn around for you soon.
