I can see where the misinterpretation is happening. It's in how MADem is pointing out the word "using".
In context, MADem is pointing to someone else's concept of "using" rather than espousing a personal view.
I think this is where the offense is coming from. Comment 126 really shouldn't be viewed as offensive. Contentious perhaps, but not offensive. I say this as a Bernie supporter.
