Sometimes you need to be exactly that. Especially when you are in the right. Bush had no problem appearing to be just that and he was dead wrong about everything. And we bent over backwards for him too. I would prefer a Dem like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren over a nice guy who keeps tacking farther and farther to the right in order to seem flexible and compromising.
Yeats had it right almost a 100 years ago...
