7. I do, too. First, who the hell paints themselves naked? I've racked my brain for any famous painter

who did this in 2 or more paintings, but I can't come up with any. I'm sure there are a few, but I doubt this sort of self-portrait is common. To me, it's doubly disturbing because of the self-nudity (I'm no prude, but exactly what does this say about the painter?) and second, because, as seems to be usual, Bush is totally focused on himself. So narcissistic! Usually, beginner painters paint stuff like flowers, their kids, their pets, landscapes, etc. The mentality behind these paintings is truly disturbing.

Now, I have no idea how many paintings Bush has done, and it could very well be that he has done hundreds of paintings of conventional subjects and we just don't know about them. But the naked ones were the ones he was proud enough of to send to his sister.

I keep getting really creepy vibes.
