9. If Ryan wants to run for president in 2016, he'll tell 'em no.

It's way too high profiled of a job that leads to a great deal of conflict and tough spots for anyone who realistically wants to run for president. Look at what it's done to Boehner. You're damned if you do, damned if you don't. If you hold your ground and don't budge an inch, you might be a hero to your base, but you've just killed yourself with the mainstream public and if you budge and compromise, you've just killed yourself with the base.

Ryan as Speaker ends his chances in 2016 because he's going to be the face of a failed House. He doesn't want that. He'd rather play it quiet these next couple years.
