3. After the Senate has voted, the House will get to vote. If Obama sticks to his guns (tax

increase only for those making more than $250,000 per year), it would
very likely pass even in the House. If the GOP congressmen should vote
down the bill, many of them will be losing their jobs in 2014, because
Republicans will be quitting the GOP in droves. Most of themi are also
middle-class and will be going through drastic financial hardship, just like
the anybody else. I think for this reason many GOP congressmen will
accept Obama's terms.

Even if they didn't, the Dems. can re-introduce a new bill in January asking
for a tax increase only for those making more than$250,000 per year.
