Trump voter dissed at my precinct this am by the poll workers [View all]
Some woman had a Trump/Pence hat and button on while waiting in line to vote. The poll workers informed her that she would need to remove those things. They explained that there is no electionering at polling sites.
Her response: "I'm a law-abiding citizen!" (ah, poor, oppressed R!)
Their response: "Then you'll have no problem following the law and removing your hat and button."
Of course, she had to argue some more with them, but when they made it clear she wouldn't be allowed to vote if she didn't remove the swag, she relented.
This is what the country is up against.
In any case, the poll workers said that turnout has been HUGE this morning. The biggest ever (this is in Lake Forest, CA, so that could mean Trump voters, though most of the voters were women). My daughter voted in her first GE today, which earned cheers and a round of applause from the poll workers. The wife and I were very proud.
Waited 25 minutes in line. There were no lines for the primaries.
Oh, yeah: that's three more votes for Hillary Clinton!
