whose taxable income (single $ 34,500; married filing joint $ 69,000) were all from qualified dividends and or long term capital gains paid no tax. Even Mitt Romney didn't have to pay tax on his first $ 69,000.- because his dividends/ long term capital gains income was more than his taxable income.
