Just gotta tell everyone - DU was so crucially influential in my political awakening. In 2001 there was so much turmoil going on with Bush v Gore and your site provided (and still continues to provide) a way to see, read, and hear everything relevant to politics. My eyes were opened and my political journey had begun!

Thanks to you and Skinner and the dedication of thousands of members, I was able to keep alert and connected to the rest of the world regarding news, and even more importantly opinions from such a wide spectrum of people.

Democratic Underground truly sparked my activism, resulting in me being here at the 2016 Convention! Tonight is going to be amazing!

Thank you for the many years of keeping this great website as relevant, informative, and FUN as it has always been!

Onward to November!
