What's an actual metric by which, say, the bottom 80% are worse off today than they were, say, 25 years ago?
(Or pick a different group than the bottom 80%, or a different time frame than 25 years; that would be fine too -- I just think people are way too willing to assert that things are getting worse without actually backing that claim up, because the numbers seem to show the opposite.)
