Gaytheist To Release "Stealth Beats" On Good To Die Records [View all]

posted August 1, 2012

GAYTHEIST. Gay. Atheist. Music for gay atheists? Sure. Music written by a gay atheist? Yes. Music for anyone that enjoys flopping about like a wet noodle in a dryer as chunks of concrete are thrown in every 30 seconds? Definitely. The Portland trio is set to release Stealth Beats via Seattle's Good To Die Records on August 21st.

The album is 23 minutes of pummeling yet melodic punk-metal. Despite the heaviness and seriousness of the music, image-wise Gaytheist tends towards the tongue and cheek. For example, the ruler found inside the Stealth Beats album for measuring oneself or partner for a Gaytheist Brand condom. Gaytheist has a string of North West shows in August and September, with more touring in the works.

is this a paid advertisement? nt msongs Aug 2012 #1
I wish. rug Aug 2012 #3
And your comment is? MineralMan Aug 2012 #2
Do you think gay atheists are amusing? rug Aug 2012 #4
Amusing? Not at all. MineralMan Aug 2012 #5
Rug has made his position on the treatment of homosexuals quite clear. trotsky Aug 2012 #6
Really? State it. rug Aug 2012 #7
I don't have to. As I've said, you've made it clear. trotsky Aug 2012 #8
No, you prefer to make intimations and scoot away. rug Aug 2012 #15
Feel free to state your stance for all to see, then. trotsky Aug 2012 #18
Get back to your original obnoxious post. rug Aug 2012 #19
It could very well be that I am mistaken. trotsky Aug 2012 #20
I'll tell you if you are. rug Aug 2012 #23
At this point, your behavior on this thread has now made it clear to others. trotsky Aug 2012 #24
Bullshit. rug Aug 2012 #26
And you could have put me in my place with a clear "yes" or "no" answer. trotsky Aug 2012 #28
And you can put me in my place by stating what you think my position is. rug Aug 2012 #30
See #31. trotsky Aug 2012 #32
You didn't state it there either. rug Aug 2012 #35
Dude. Answer the question. It's pretty easy. You can end it all. Goblinmonger Aug 2012 #34
You selectively read this thread. rug Aug 2012 #36
The reality is you won't ever answer the question. Goblinmonger Aug 2012 #39
The reality is trotsky won't ever state what he intimated. rug Aug 2012 #41
If that makes you feel better, I won't demand you state your position. 2ndAmForComputers Aug 2012 #63
That may be, but I haven't seen his position. MineralMan Aug 2012 #9
Would it be fair to say that one who gives times, money, and support to an organization... cleanhippie Aug 2012 #10
Yes, it would, in my opinion. MineralMan Aug 2012 #11
"It is a choice, and making such a choice indicates one's position, certainly. " cleanhippie Aug 2012 #12
True. Perhaps he will state it clearly for you if you ask nicely. trotsky Aug 2012 #13
I doubt that very much. nt MineralMan Aug 2012 #14
Why don't you? rug Aug 2012 #16
It's your opinion. trotsky Aug 2012 #17
No it's not my opinion. You intimate, but do not state, that you know what my opinion is. rug Aug 2012 #21
We can play this game as long as you want, rug. trotsky Aug 2012 #22
It's not a game, trotsky. rug Aug 2012 #25
I have intimated nothing. trotsky Aug 2012 #27
Then you can "merely' state what you think my position is rug Aug 2012 #29
It should be clear to anyone who reads this thread. trotsky Aug 2012 #31
I think it's "quite clear". rug Aug 2012 #33
If it is not a game, then answer this. Does giving support to an institution condone its activities? cleanhippie Aug 2012 #37
I'll get back to your defective question as soon as I hear what trotsky thinks my position is. rug Aug 2012 #38
Yeah, sure you will. How expected. cleanhippie Aug 2012 #40
If it's not a game, state clearly what you intimated. rug Aug 2012 #42
If its not a game, answer the question. cleanhippie Aug 2012 #43
It's his intimaion, not yours. rug Aug 2012 #44
So it's a game to you. thanks for confirming that. cleanhippie Aug 2012 #45
Not in the least. It's deadly serious. rug Aug 2012 #46
Oh, it's a game to you alright. cleanhippie Aug 2012 #47
When you have a statement, get back to me. rug Aug 2012 #48
When you have an answer, get back to everyone. cleanhippie Aug 2012 #49
Nope, that's not one. rug Aug 2012 #50
Yes, everyone knows you have no answer. cleanhippie Aug 2012 #51
You're now making a fool of yourself. rug Aug 2012 #52
Nah, you got that role well covered. cleanhippie Aug 2012 #53
Carry on. rug Aug 2012 #54
Nah, rounds are over. I'm done with you. cleanhippie Aug 2012 #55
You're done all right. rug Aug 2012 #56
With you. cleanhippie Aug 2012 #57
Oh, you're not done? rug Aug 2012 #58
So why isn't this post locked, while Onager's is? Heddi Aug 2012 #59
Probably because one is about a group proud to put their atheism in their music rug Aug 2012 #60
are you serious? Heddi Aug 2012 #61
I told you already. rug Aug 2012 #62
