ever had items stolen from checked luggage? [View all]

Just landed, and am missing expensive Toolman. I know TSA opened it because they left a slip inside it. Traveled Portland Maine to DC to Miami.

Guessing it happened in DC. I've heard of laptops etc getting stolen, but this is first time it happened to me.
