Seahawks’ CB Browner faces 1-year suspension [View all]
A day after the news that cornerback Walter Thurmond will be suspended for four games because of a second violation of the leagues substance-abuse policy, came word that cornerback Brandon Browner will reportedly be suspended for a year for a violation of the same policy.
Browner was suspended the final four games of the 2012 season for violating the leagues performance-enhancing drug policy, which is separate from the substance-abuse policy. After missing four games, Browner returned to join the Seahawks in the playoffs.
------
The suspensions for both Thurmond and Browner indicate they have violated the leagues drug policy multiple times.

This is the same guy who when questioned last summer what he would do if lined up against Jim Harbaugh, answered, "I'd put my hands around his neck". That was following the 49ers' coach commenting on the trend involving Seattle's PED use.
I still think the Seahawks have the best team in the NFC if not the NFL. Perhaps if they stop losing players they'll have a chance to prove it..
