For daring to simply ASK if legalizing marijuana was something prominent on the president's agenda, some fool decides to take it upon himself to tell me that I don't care about the disenfranchisement of black people. 
And what was so funny, is that he actually thought I was buying his shit. We talk alot in this forum about the disenfranchisement of black people and the massive discrepancies in prison sentencing. Shall we count the number of posts from that individual in those threads?? Let's see... ZERO. Yeah, I thought so.
But somehow, this ONE issue re: racial discrepancies in prison sentencing related to the sale of MJ is the ONLY one that some of these folks will make even the slightest bit of an effort to care about. Really? So we're all just supposed to pretend to not see what's happening? That this is a cynical bit of bullshit for people that couldn't care less about Negros to gloam onto an issue that is incredibly important to us so that they can achieve their real goal which is to get high in peace and not have to worry about the cops? Do they REALLY think that we are that stupid?
Between this kind of crap, the bullying, the deliberate racial cluelessness, the intimidation and BS that you mentioned, I completely sympathize with what you are saying. I've got a small cadre of psychopaths that stick to my moniker like leaches. It's gotten so bad that I actually went to Skinner about one of them. And Skinner has responded with... nothing, even though he clearly sees that there is a problem.
I don't blame you one bit for leaving. I really don't. Part of me wants to type "no! don't go!" but this place has become so hateful and ignorant I don't blame ANYONE for giving the joint the middle finger as they head out the door.
