This article is shallow race baiting at it's most loathsome.
It seeks to ride the coat tails of the BLM movement to score political points against Sanders.
The notion that economic issues have no support in the AA community is false, as is the idea that economics and social justice are separate issues that cannot be addressed together.
The idea that only "white upper middle class (older)" people support Sanders is ridiculous and only seeks to drive a wedge between two constituencies that are natural allies.
Economics and social justice are intertwined and are paramount for any cultural group in this country.
That said, African Americans have huge voting leverage, and they should use it in a way that best supports and nurtures their communities.
