We were sharing horror stories about idiots we've come across in stores or ranges. Mine was the kid (OK, he was about 25 - that's a kid to me now!) who picked up an SKS, took it to the counter and asked the clerk if this was one of the automatic rifles. The clerk politely informed him that no, it wasn't, and suggested he go learn about guns before buying one. He refused to sell him anything at all.
