Albuquerque police responded to a report of a shooting on the 3000 block of Lafayette near Comanche Road and Carlisle Boulevard NE.
According to new information released, police said several people were standing in front of a home when one person shot another.
The shooter then drove away.
Officers found one person shot in the head when they arrived on scene. The victim was transported to a hospital and is currently listed in critical condition ...

Man shot in drive-by Tuesday dies; police search for suspect
A man who was shot in the head Tuesday at Carlisle and Comanche has died, and police have named a suspect in his death.
Police say Dominic Sanchez died late Tuesday after being shot by someone who fired from a vehicle and drove away.
That suspect is Daniel Aguilar, described as being 5'4, bald, with hazel eyes and tattoos on his face, head, chest and arms.
Witnesses say Aguilar, also known as "Juero," was last seen driving from the scene in a green SUV or station wagon-type vehicle ...

APD arrests suspect in city's latest murder

APD detectives say they have arrested the man who is suspected of shooting and killing a man outside a NE Albuquerque apartment Tuesday.
Daniel Aguilar is believed to have shot and killed Dominic Sanchez on Tuesday outside apartments at Carlisle and Comanche.
Police say they arrested Aguilar Wednesday morning as he hid in a room at the Motel 6 at Pan American Freeway and Alameda Blvd NE.
Aguilar was in the company of his girlfriend, who was also wanted in reference to several outstanding felony and misdemeanor arrest warrants ...
