A maids Tuesday afternoon discovery of a man and woman shot to death in a fifth-floor room at the Hampton Inn and Suites at 4415 Southside Blvd. is an apparent murder/suicide, according to the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office.
Believing the registered guests had checked out already and finding the door latched from the inside, a cleaning crew unlocked it at 12:50 p.m. and found the bodies, Sgt. Shawn Coarsey said.
The pair were shot some time before dawn, Coarsey said.
There was a firearm in the room, the sergeant said. We have talked to guests on the same floor and no one heard anything. No one even knew it had happened. ...

Bodies found inside southside hotel identified
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has released the names of the man and woman found dead inside a southside hotel.
46-year-old David Frederick Harbach and 44-year-old Kaede Lambert were found shot and killed inside the Hampton Inn & Suites near Tinseltown Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Both victims are listed at the same home address on Kellow Circle.
A housekeeper discovered the bodies and called the police at 12:52 p.m. Tuesday. JSO says an investigation has revealed Harbach shot Lambert then shot himself.
Police found a firearm inside the room which was locked from the inside. Investigators also found multiple envelopes with letters addressed to people scattered throughout the hotel room ...

Harbach, who was blind, used to run a sandwich shop in the federal office building at 400 W. Bay St. Kaede and Jeffery Lambert, Kaede Lamberts husband, previously ran Lambcorp Enterprises ...
Another neighbor said authorities had been at Harbachs vacated home two days before the shootings and confiscated a computer. Authorities couldnt confirm any details ...
