It is up to the people who support that claim (private ownership of guns stops tyranny) to prove it. I have not made the opposite claim I have no burden of proof in this.
There were more than just the KKK in the post war South and not all the slaves killed in the antebellum South were killed by governmental authority.
Good of you to stand up for the Tea Party.
