I've never handled and AK-47 and had a Bushmaster in my hands once and have no idea whatsoever as how one would load either without actually changing the magazine.
A company does offer a mag enhancement for the bolt action Mosin Nagant which increases mag capacity to 10 rounds but one still loads it via stripper clips.

I'm not usually a fan of gun confisation, but I might make an exception for that gun.

Prohibiting the manufacture or importing of such mags will drive up the cost of them every year.
