I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but... well, it's just a bit confusing. SB - meaning Super Bowl commercials? Not making the connection with the food part.
Admittedly, I'm a bit dense today (at least according to my teenagers - which, of course has made me more than a wee bit cranky and subject to questioning everything.)
So, please don't be offended. I'm just trying to understand. (I've spent most of the day trying to understand my %&^#&*^(#$ teenagers so perhaps my brain is fried and over-tired!)
BTW - I usually make a big pot of chili for the Super Bowl along with assorted snacks - like Artichoke/Spinach dip, etc. . . . But -
1. we just had chili last week, so no one wants it. and
2. I thought no one was going to be here but me so I wasn't going to do anything, but NOW.......... it seems my son - the football fanatic - WILL be here and I have to come up with something. We're vegetarians so wings are out. We had pizza a couple of days ago. Maybe a nice pot of broccoli cheese soup with or without maybe some potatoes or lentils? I dunno. The truculent 14yo is in such a mood and has gotten ME into such a state, there maybe no game on the tv to make anything for anyway. He may be eating bread and water while sitting in his room. WithOUT his computer. (Can you tell my day has not gone well?) Okay - maybe bread and peanut butter. hmmph.
