The reason these protests target all Jews and not just Israeli Jews is because majority of Jews around the world will abandon any morals they have just so they can support the country Israel.

Its completely wrong for these protests to turn anti-semetic, but its an aunavoidable turn of events when some Jews in western countries will bend over backwards to defend a country that they call their homeland but wont live in themselves.

Unfortunately, when you have many Jewish people around the world justify everything Israel does (no matter how barbaric), others will associate the Jewish religion as being just as bad as the state of Israe.
The same happens regularly with Muslims, when protestors and bigots decry Muslims because they associate western Muslim with those bad Muslim countries in the world.
