It appears the Republicans see an opening now to woo Jewish voters by an alliance with the right-wing in Israel. Their pitch: If you back the Israeli right wing, you belong with the Republican right wing.
Will this strategy work? It could somewhat split the Jewish-American vote. But I don't see a wholesale defection. Like within all communities, opinions vary.
