I'm okay with Mary being pregnant, but..

Sherlock taking a gun to a guy's head? *BLAM*

Not out-thought. Not out-maneuvered. No trick up his sleeve. Just.. *BLAM*

That is soo not a sherlock-ish ending to that episode. Especially since having this season start with the elaborate set-up to fool Watson.

And the psycho-babble about Watson 'knowing' about Mary, somehow, deep down? The thing that I enjoy about the Sherlock mythology, is that on second viewing, all the clues are there. You can smack yourself for not identifying them, but- they're there.

This psycho-babble? Again, out of character. And no, I'm not being a purist, I just think this was.. too much of a stretch from the source.
