(59,305 posts)79. Dreamcatcher movie was the worst King book/movie adaptation
I saw the movie before reading it, and I left the movie theater with a "what the fuck did I just watch?" expression on my face. The book was a lot better, and things made a lot more sense. To its credit, the movie was half way decent til the introduction of Kurtz(Morgan Freeman's character).

The Choir Boys. Not a great book so much as a great read. The movie was an exercise in mediocrity.
