(9,070 posts)even with all the problems the water and South beach in Miami are fun.
Orlando traffic is as crazy as you get, and I'm not as excited about Disney World/Universal/MGM as some folks. I don't like Orlando weather much. Too many storms.
There's plenty of non-English everywhere in Florida. I have to admit that the best times I've had in Florida were (in order):
1.) the Keys and Key West (sailing, snorkeling, scuba, just hanging around)
2.) Clearwater/St. Pete Beach (most fun beaches in the US, music)
3.) Miami (Coconut Grove to South Beach clubs, bars, and restaurants)
4.) Ft. Lauderdale (pretty nice, but pricy)
5.) Orlando (mostly theme parks, concerts, ball games and then get out of there)
I've never liked Jacksonville - just too seedy and feels yucky to me.
I'm sure this post will cause controversy, but that's my experience.
