For making me see beyond a foolish, selfish anger in me, and for reminding me that we all leave marks we never know about, everywhere we go. We also leave marks we do not intend, but that cause pain anyway. I've done that, and I wish I could make it go away, that it never had happened. I'm a lazy pratt, I don't have the energy for doing things to anger intentionally. I do enough of that accidentally as it is. So I flipped. I let me get the better of me, something that never ends well. Then a certain Mr. Pitt did what friends do. He showed me what was going on here, the threads of No, Stop, You Putz, we love your silly ass. Overwhelmed. Still. I will be forever. Then, he showed me your No Words Do It Justice letter. Niagara Falls, Frankie Angel. With all my heart, thank you. It broke me, which is the only way I get better. You made it stop. You fixed things, with an outpouring of love and grief so powerful, that only a great fool, or an even greater idiot would not be moved by it. You fixed me. You may have even fixed DU. Hey, it's Christmastime, anything can happen.
DU, you have a new voice. Treat her better than you treat me. My love and thanks.
