3. I hate when that happens....

I hear it all the time where I am, and sometimes we even get to see the meal happening.

One day a hawk drove a mourning dove into our glass deck door, then enjoyed its meal out on the back lawn. When the UPS guy came, his truck scared the hawk and he picked up the remainder and flew off with it.

Last night a raccoon almost became coyote food (we have a set of surveillance cameras all around the house). He was scavenging in the deer feeder and ran off all of a sudden. Right after that a coyote came through where the raccoon had just been a few seconds before.

sigh...I know they have to eat, but...well...it's not something I want to see or hear.
