Again, I stress how sorry I am that you are facing this issue with your mom. However, I am very glad you are able to be there with her right now. I'm sure it comforts her (Lefty! ) even if it is not on a level that we fully understand.

As I said before, it is not uncommon for older folks to face confusion when they are dealing with some form of physical illness or some of the prescriptions that they get from the docs. Here's hoping that your mom will continue to improve and actually start teasing you with that nickname again!
