inaccurate in a number of respects, and its maker knows it and kind of seems to be having fun trying to hoodwink the public for fame and fortune.

Maybe I'm being unfair, but when confronted about obvious failings and discrepancies in his movie, he just sort of shrugs it off and kind of laughs about it. He trivializes the gross errors in his movie. He seems to be saying, well what do you expect? You didn't think I was trying to make a scientifically sound film, did you? Why in the world should I?

It is one thing for someone to make a mistake and admit to it and try to do better. But when someone is shown evidence about omitted information or falsehoods in a film about a scientific topic and fails to apologize or correct his errors, then you begin to ask whether that person has any scientific credibility at all.

I wonder who funded the Great Warming Swindle?

Sounds like the Great Warming Swindle movie might be the real swindle.
