supporters didn't vote for him?
His ideas excited people far more, including the vast majority of under-30's and a corollary,
He didn't have a history of positions that many Dem and swing voters found too military-industrial
He had far, far higher trust and favorability ratings among likely voters... do you not see that to the extent that the Comey announcement was what did her in, then it was the trust issue that did her in.. And that hacking that folks are upset about? The damage to her campaign came from pulling back the curtain, not fabricating something untrue.
I spoke to thousands of Dem voters during the primaries, and many of those who were voting for Hillary were voting for her because she is a woman, not because they preferred her positions over Bernie's. They really liked Bernie, but were psyched about the historic value of a woman president. If Bernie were our GE candidate, he would've had all those votes. And most of the states where she beat him beyond a narrow margin, she herself (and WE) did not win in the GE.
Please show us the "hideous and brutal opposition research" that's nothing more than a phantom-meme. Folks who say it exists and would be oh so much worse than what Clinton was accused of, ok, if it's central to your thesis, lets see it!
